Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there is memory,
they'll live on in the heart

Dear Gran

I know I didnt get to see you as much as most of the family, but I have some very lovely memories of you and our times together when we visited ilford road. I remember the little plastic horse that you used to keep in the cupboard near the door, and the big jar of buttons that you used to save and help us to make pictures and patterns with, :) you were always so patient with us when we were jumping across the beds in the back room and being noisy. still you were so cheerful and always had your little golden trolley stacked full of goodies and treats ready for us and you spoilt us with hot chocolate and biscuits before bedtime. We had lots of fun in that house and you used to tell me off for trying my best to climb that big tree incase I fell and hurt myself (I could never do it anyways the trunk was too big!) I miss those times gran and Im sorry that my children are not able to exerience those things with you, they all know about you and the happy stories I tell them about my trips to newcastle, They send their love, and we all hope that you are happy and at peace now. We will toast you at Our wedding gran, see you when I get there! save me a hug! lots of love and kisses Linda, Dale, Alex, Kian & Kye. xxxxx

mam

mam you left us these words to remember you

you cant see through a curtain,
beyond a door shut fast,
or tell if on the other side,
the sun may shine at last,
you cannot see through sorrow,
yet beyond , my friend , i say ,
youll find some hope , some happiness,
to lift your heart one day...
r i p mam
